Handmade Carbon Steel Frying Pan
A proper handmade carbon steel pan, made right here in our West Ipswich, Queensland workshop.
Each pan is made from 2mm carbon steel and fitted with a hand-forged steel handle. They’re made individually from start to finish, so each one will have its own hammer marks and finish.
Available in 6", 8", 10", 12" and 14".
Which Size Should I Choose?
- 6" / 15cm: A small single-serving pan. Great for eggs, sides and smaller meals. It’s also easy to pack for camping, fishing and travelling.
- 8" / 20cm: Good for eggs, bacon, sausages and individual meals.
- 10" / 25cm: A useful everyday pan for one or two people.
- 12" / 30cm: Plenty of room for larger meals, steaks, vegetables or a full breakfast.
- 14" / 35cm: Our largest pan. Best for family meals, entertaining, BBQ cooking and feeding a group.
The measurements refer to the diameter across the top of the pan. Because they’re handmade, there may be small differences between pans.
Why Carbon Steel?
Carbon steel has been used for cookware for generations.
It doesn’t need a synthetic non-stick coating. Instead, the pan builds up its own natural seasoning from oil, heat and regular cooking.
The more you use it, the better the seasoning gets.
There’s no synthetic coating to wear out, flake or peel. If the seasoning is ever damaged, it can simply be cleaned and seasoned again.

Every pan is handmade, so small differences in its shape, hammer marks, colouring and finish are normal. No two will be exactly the same.
If you want perfectly identical, mass-produced cookware, this probably isn’t the pan for you.
